Assistant Superintendent

Location: Greater Boston Area
Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site
Industry: Multifamily & Commercial Construction

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and self-driven Assistant Superintendent who is passionate about construction, eager to grow professionally, and ready to support and learn from an experienced project team. In this role, you'll help manage daily on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure the quality and safety of our projects.

This is a growth-oriented position — ideal for someone who is organized, hands-on, and looking to move up into a Superintendent role.

 What You’ll Do

  • Support the Superintendent with daily on-site project management

  • Coordinate subcontractors, field labor, and inspections

  • Maintain and enforce job site safety protocols and compliance

  • Assist in developing and managing project schedules and reports

  • Help manage punch list completion and closeout activities

  • Participate in meetings with subcontractors, owners, and project managers

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and accessible job site

 What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in multifamily, residential, or commercial construction

  • Familiarity with Buildertrend, Procore, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word

  • Ability to read blueprints and construction documentation

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, safety procedures, and site coordination

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic and desire for long-term career growth

  • Bachelor’s in Construction Management or related field preferred (not required)
